Neu! was a German Kosmiche band formed 1971 in Düsseldorf by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother, after their split from Kraftwerk. The group's albums were produced by Conny Plank, who is seen as the group's third member. Neu! are considered one of the founders of Krautrock and have greatly influenced subsequent rock, post-punk and electronic music artists. Their first three albums; NEU!, NEU! 2 and NEU '75 are masterpieces of electronic rock music.
