The Bevis Frond | Artist

The Bevis Frond is an English neo-Psych band formed 1985 in London by Nick Saloman. Saloman describes his music as somewhere between Hendrix, The Wipers and The Byrds, with a distinctly English feel. The band has collaborated with many other non-mainstream artists such as Twink, Adrian Shaw, Barry Dransfield and David Tibet. Nick Saloman owns Platform One Records, a vinyl record store in Bexhill, East Sussex. Outstanding Bevis Frond albums include Inner Marshland, Any Gas Faster, New River Head, Hit Squad and White Numbers.
