The Obsessed is an American heavy metal band formed 1976 in Potomac, Maryland, by Scott "Wino" Weinrich. They were originally called Warhorse. The band combines elements of doom metal, stoner rock and punk rock. Having split and reformed several times, Wino has also formed other side projects including Spirit Caravan, Saint Vitus and Goatsnake. Outstanding albums include The Obsessed, Lunar Womb, The Church Within and Live Music Hall Köln December 29th 1992.
