Mark Stewart aka Stew, is an American singer-songwriter and playwright born 1961 in Los Angeles, California. Stew has a solo career as well as playing with The Negro Problem. Heidi Rodewald is his collaborator and a member of the band. He wrote and performed in the autobiographical rock musical Passing Strange. Outstanding albums include Guest Host, The Naked Dutch Painter and Something Deeper Than These Changes.
