The Dead Weather is an American rock supergroup formed 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee. The lineup is Alison Mosshart from The Kills, Jack White from White Stripes, Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stoneage, and Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs. The band debuted at the opening of Third Man Records' Nashville headquarters on March 11, 2009. They play a style of swaggering Blues/Garage rock. Outstanding albums include Horehound, Sea of Cowards and Live at Third Man Records.
