The Dillards | Artist
The Dillards are an American bluegrass band formed 1963 in Salem, Missouri. They appeared as "The Darlings" on The Andy Griffith TV Show. Doug Dillard was a banjo virtuoso and appeared on many seminal country-rock albums of the 60s-70s including with The Byrds' Gene Clark on the 1968 classic The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard & Clark.
