I Feel The Spirit is the debut album by Jamaican ska legend Cecil Campbell aka prince Buster, first released in 1963 on . The music style was called 'blue beat' and was the forerunner to ska and then reggae. Buster was to go forward and record an astounding number of great Singles which greatly influenced the UK mods and Ska resurgence, being emulated by bands such as Madness, The Specials and The Selecter. You can hear the beginnings of ska in the Blue Beat Label. This is an historic recording as well as being a very enjoyable listen.
